Does anyone use cursive writing anymaore? While we continue to teach it in our elementary school, very few students use pure cursive writing in our middle and high school. We have found that few of the teachers do too. Given the demands of technology education today, are there good reasons to continue to teach cursive writing in elementary school?

My bad, somehow my discussion question didn’t post. I was simply wondering what folks think about cursive writing today? We continually review our curriculum, and the latest question is whether cursive writing is still a skill needed to prepare students for the future?
